English Programs

When you take classes at the Forgein language Center ILC , you will have many opportunities to develop your English skills and learn about different cultures in the world. You may join a conversation group for informal discussions with foreign students. You may also practice your speaking and listening skills in the university’s modern language laboratory, explore the many resources When you take classes at the Forgein language Center ILC, you will have many opportunities to develop your English skills and learn about different cultures in the world. on the World Wide Web in the center’s computer lab, and participate in cultural exchanges with schools in the community. Your instructors will be interested in helping you achieve your educational goals.

At the English Center, you will find:

· Courses in reading, writing, speaking & understanding, and English structure

· 5 Levels: Beginning through Advanced

· Small classes

· Study in computer laboratory and language laboratory

· Specialized courses for groups

· Courses for business and industry

· Friendly, interesting, experienced teachers

· Conversation groups

· Field trips

·  Social gatherings

English classes are held from Monday through Friday. The central courses focus on the skills of speaking & understanding, writing, reading, and a review of English grammar. Full-time English language students usually have one or two classes in the morning and one or two classes in the afternoon. At the advanced levels you may enroll in a combination of the center and university courses, if you have a strong academic background.

You will also have time to join a conversation group, improve your skills in the center’s computer lab. In the afternoon and evenings, you will have time to practice English, do homework, visit with friends, join social activities, or just relax.

In your courses you will: Practice speaking in small groups · Work to improve your pronunciation · Practice listening in everyday speech · Practice listening to academic lectures and taking notes · Increase your vocabulary and reading speed · Practice reading books, articles, and essays · Practice writing short essays and longer papers · Learn how to take English language tests · Learn about American customs and culture · Learn strategies to learn English more quickly  Meet other international students who are· working to improve their English  Meet American and Australian teachers,· students, and community members
English Courses LEVEL 1   BEGINNING Students at level 1 study full time at the English Center. They take three courses in speaking/listening, reading/writing and grammar for communication. (core books: Lifelines A and the teacher's materials suitble with the students) LEVELS 2 & 3   INTERMEDIATE Students at level 2-3 generally study full time at the English Center. They take three courses in speaking/listening, reading/writing, and grammar for communication. Some students at Level 3 are eligible to take two courses when their English is very strong in one of these areas. (core books: Lifelines B and the teacher's materials suitble with the students)   LEVELS 4 & 5*   ADVANCED Students at level 4-5 may enroll in a combination of the English Center and university courses. At Level 4, students take courses in speaking/listening, reading/writing, or grammar for communication, depending on their English proficiency. Khi các bạn tham gia há»�c các lá»›p Tiếng Anh tại Trung tâm Ngoại ngữ ILC , các bạn sẽ có nhiá»�u cÆ¡ há»™i để nâng cao trình Ä‘á»™ Tiếng Anh của bạn và tìm hiá»�u vá»� nhiá»�u ná»�n văn hoá khác nhau trên thế giá»›i. Các bạn có thể tham gia vào các cuá»™c thảo luận thông thÆ°á»�ng theo nhóm cùng vá»›i các bạn sinh viên nÆ°á»›c ngoài. Bạn cÅ©ng có thể luyện kỹ năng nghe nói tại phòng máy hiện đại tại trung tâm, khám phá rất nhiá»�u các trang web hữu ích trên World Wide Web tại phòng máy trung tâm, và tham vào các cuá»™c thảo luận trao đổi các lÄ©nh vá»±c văn hoá vá»›i má»™t số trÆ°á»�ng chuyên ngữ.. Những giáo viên ở Ä‘ây luôn sẵn lòng giúp đỡ các bạn Ä‘ạt được kết quả tốt trong há»�c tập.

Tại Trung tâm , các bạn sẽ có được: 

· Các khoá há»�c vá»� Ä‘á»�c, viết, nói hiểu và các cấu trúc anh ngữ.

· 5 trình Ä‘á»™: Từ trình Ä‘á»™ ban đầu cho đến nâng cao.

· Lá»›p ít há»�c viên.

· Há»�c trong phòng máy tính có nối mạng toàn cầu.

· Tổ chức các khoá há»�c theo yêu cầu cho tổ chức cá nhân.

· Các khoá há»�c chuyên ngành

· Giáo viên có kinh nghiệm, nhiệt huyết và thân thiện.

· Các cuá»™c thẻo luận theo nhóm.

· Chuyến Ä‘i dã ngoại ngoài trá»�i.

Các lá»›p há»�c được tổ chức từ thứ hai đến thứ sáu. Các khoá há»�c trong tậm tập trung vào kỹ năng nói hiểu, viết, Ä‘á»�c, và hệ thống ngữ pháp. Các há»�c viên theo há»�c theo há»�c các lá»›p chính khoá sẽ há»�c má»™t hoặc hai buổi vào buổi sáng và má»™t hai buổi vào buổi chiá»�u. Các há»�c ở trình Ä‘á»™ nâng cao có thể tham gia má»™t số buổi há»�c liên kết giữa Trung tâm và má»™t số trÆ°á»�ng đại há»�c chuyên ngữ nếu có kiến thức vững.

Bạn sẽ có cÆ¡ há»™i để tham gia các cuá»™c Ä‘àm thoại theo nhóm, nâng cao kỹ năng sá»­ dung Tiếng Anh tại phòng máy. Vào các buổi chiá»�u và buổi tối, bạn sẽ có thá»�i gian để luyên tập Tiếng Anh , làm bia tập ở nhà, thăm bạn, tham gia các hoạt Ä‘á»™ng xã há»™i, hoặc nghỉ ngÆ¡i thÆ° giãn.
